The United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Every woman in the church is considered to be a member of UMW and there are no dues or meeting attendance requirements.
Crafty Ladies
One of the groups within UMW is the Crafty Ladies. Crafty Ladies meet on Thursdays (except for the second Thursday of each month) from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Education Building from February through the Bazaar in early November.
We make crafts of many kinds and enjoy fellowship with other “crafters.” We also work on projects at home. Money earned from the sale of our crafts at the annual bazaar provides the bulk of the United Methodist Women’s budget which supports mission efforts locally and beyond.
