30 Hour Famine
Last year we raised over $2,400 to stop hunger around the globe. That represents 8 children who were fed for a year because of our famine. Our 2013 famine dates are April 13-14. Sign up now to receive your packet. The 30 Hour Consent Form can be downloaded by clicking here.
Youth Lent Bible Study
Our study for Lent is, The Way, in which we will retrace the steps of Jesus life and ministry. The youth bible study, starting on Ash Wednesday February 13th, will occur each Wednesday of Lent from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm. Follow in the footsteps of Jesus, from his baptism to the temptations to the heart of his ministry, including the people he loved, the parables he taught, the enemies he made, and the healing he brought.
Youth Mission Trip
This summer, from June 17 to June 26, we will be going to Denver, Co to serve and learn through our experiences at Denver Urban Ministry (click to go to their website for more info). We hope to keep the cost to $100 for the trip by offsetting the costs through fundraising. For more information, please contact Pastor Matt.
Each day we will volunteer at a non-profit partner site that provides services to those in need during the day. At night will be free time and/or some more educational activities. We will have one totally free day to explore some sites in Denver (the youth will be involved in planning that).
